Measuring Tips for Fleece Pants
Fleece Pants with or without pockets are measured on a flat work station with the front of the garment facing up.
The garment is measured in a relaxed state.
Waist
The waist is measured by aligning the top edges of the elastic front to back with the end of the ruler inside the waist. Measure inside to inside and double.
Total Rise
The total rise is measured in a straight line from the top edge of the waist to the inseam. This dimension is doubled.
Inseam
The inseam is measured from the bottom edge of the leg opening to the intersection end of the ruler inside the waist. Measure inside to inside and double.
Outseam
The outseam is measured from the top edge of the waist to the bottom edge of the cuff.
Thigh
The thigh is measured approximately one inch below the inseam point across the leg from edge to edge.
Leg Opening
The leg opening is measured across the opening, inside edge to edge and doubled.
Seat Width
The seat width is measured by aligning the top edge of the elastic front to back, folding the edge of the elastic down to the inseam. The seat width is measured from edge to edge along the fold of the garment.
Pocket Opening
The pocket opening is measured with the end of the ruler inside the pocket welt. Measure in a straight line across the opening from edge to edge.
